Why We Keep Our Worksheets Black and White

When you're organizing a legal matter on your own, the paperwork can pile up quickly. It can feel like every new checklist, filing, or piece of evidence is another expense.

At More PRO Than Se, one of our goals is to help you keep those practical costs down. That's why our standard printable worksheets use black-and-white designs rather than ink-heavy colored backgrounds.

Why black and white?

Color can look beautiful on a screen, but it isn't essential for a useful tracker. We focus on clear headings, writing space, and organized tables so you can print what you need without using extra colored ink.

Three ways to stay organized without spending more than you need to

  1. Start with one list. Make a simple index of your key documents and where each one is saved. A consistent filename can save a lot of searching later.
  2. Keep a timeline. Record the date, what happened, and the original source that supports each entry. Keep your original messages, documents, photos, and recordings separately and unaltered.
  3. Print selectively. Keep digital working copies when practical, and print only the pages your situation requires. Always follow any applicable court rules for paper copies and exhibits.

Created from real experience

I never planned to spend so much time learning how to organize court paperwork. Circumstances pushed me into that work, and it became something I had to figure out while managing the rest of life. More PRO Than Se grew out of the hope that someone else might find helpful organizational tools in one place rather than starting from scratch.

Whether you're building a binder, preparing for a hearing, or just trying to keep records in order, the goal is the same: more organized, more prepared, and fewer unnecessary expenses.

More PRO Than Se provides educational and organizational resources, not legal advice. Procedures vary by court and jurisdiction.
