Why I started More PRO Than Se

I never set out to take on the part-time job of navigating court paperwork and preparing to represent myself. I was forced into that position by circumstances I did not choose. What followed was a steep learning curve: organizing records, tracking dates, preparing for hearings, and trying to make sense of it all while life kept moving.

I couldn't change how I got here, but I could choose what to do with what I learned. More PRO Than Se grew out of that experience. My hope is to make the practical tools I wish I'd had easier for others to find and use.

I've spent thousands of hours working on my own case and asked thousands of questions trying to understand the process, organize the information, and figure out what to do next. These worksheets weren't dreamed up overnight. They grew out of the research, questions, trial and error, and countless moments when I wished I had a simple tool to help me keep everything straight.

If these forms can save someone else even a fraction of that time, frustration, and expense, then something helpful has come from an experience I never wanted.

Our goal: help you save money

Our goal is to help you save as much money as possible, not add unnecessary expenses to an already stressful situation. That's why we designed our standard printable worksheets in black and white: to reduce the cost of ink and make at-home or local printing more affordable. You shouldn't have to spend extra on colored ink just to use the tools you purchased.

We aim to keep our resources straightforward, printer-friendly, and useful, with options for people who prefer to write by hand or type into fillable PDFs.
